Alonzo Serai was born in the city of Nantes (France) in 1961.
After a year in art school and many jobs, he goes to Paris in 1986 and becomes a comic-book artist for the magazine Métal Hurlant (Heavy Metal)
He works for theatre as a painter-decorator, manages special events, makes a short live-action movie, and spends 15 years in the animated TV series industry as layout artist, storyboarder, and assistant-director.
In 1999, he compiles the erotic pictures and texts he made since he was aged fourteen and starts his Valley Series, first with graphic portfolios, then with illustrated novels.
